Balbal is a mobile game developed by Barış Dede. By downloading and playing it you accept these terms. We have tried to keep them short and readable; if anything is unclear, write to baris@barisdede.com.
How your data is handled is covered separately in the Privacy Policy.
1. Your right to use the game
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to play Balbal on your own devices for personal, non-commercial purposes. We are not selling, renting or transferring ownership of the game itself.
2. Accounts
You can play the first three levels without an account. From the fourth level onwards you need to sign in with your Apple or Google account. The only reason for this is so your progress is not lost when you change devices.
- You are responsible for activity on your account.
- When you sign out, your progress is written to the cloud first and the copy on the device is then removed — so that whoever picks up the phone next does not see your progress.
- You can delete your account from inside the game: Settings › Account › Delete my account. Deletion cannot be undone.
3. Purchases
The game is free. There are two kinds of purchase, and all payment goes through the Apple App Store or Google Play — your card details never reach us.

How renewal and cancellation work. Balbal+ renews automatically at the end of each period. To stop it renewing you must cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You are charged within the 24 hours before the period ends.
Cancellation happens in your store account, not in the app:
- iOS: Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions
- Android: Google Play › Profile › Payments and subscriptions
After cancelling, Balbal+ stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
Prices are shown on the purchase screen in your local currency and are confirmed by you before purchase. Prices may change; a change does not affect the period you are already in.
Refunds are governed by the store's own rules and decided by the store — reportaproblem.apple.com for Apple, Google Play support for Google. This does not remove any rights you have under consumer law.
4. In-game helpers have no real-world value
Helpers (shuffle, hint, undo) and in-game progress are not money. They have no real-world value, cannot be cashed out, cannot be transferred to another account and cannot be sold outside the game. They end when you delete your account or if the game is discontinued.
5. Ads
Balbal is supported by ads. Ads appear in two places: a full-screen ad shown occasionally at the end of a level, and rewarded videos you choose to watch. There are no banner ads, and no ad is ever shown on the board screen. Balbal+ subscribers see no ads.
6. What you must not do
- Reverse-engineer, modify, or distribute a modified version of the game
- Use automation, bots, cheat tools or memory editors
- Attempt to bypass purchase verification
- Sell, rent or transfer your account
- Place load on our servers beyond ordinary play
If we find use that breaks these rules we may suspend or end access to the account.
7. Content and rights
The game's code, artwork, design and text belong to Barış Dede. The tamga symbols and mythology notes in the game draw on the shared cultural heritage of Turkic mythology; the interpretations and illustrations in the game belong to the game.

8. Continuity of the game
We keep working on the game: levels, balance and features may change. If we have to stop the game or a feature, we will say so inside the game as early as we can. If you have an active subscription, the period you paid for is honoured.
9. Liability
Balbal is provided as is. We cannot promise it will run without interruption or error. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect damage or loss of data. This section does not affect the rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.
10. App stores
You obtain Balbal through the Apple App Store or Google Play. This agreement is between you and Barış Dede; Apple and Google are not parties to it. All support, claims and complaints about the game are directed to us. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these terms and has the right to enforce them against you.
11. Changes
If this page changes, the date at the top is updated. For a significant change we will also say so inside the game.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Türkiye. If you are a consumer, the rights given to you by the consumer law of your country of residence, and your ability to bring proceedings there, are unaffected.
